Sunday June 21, 2009 local dancer Amanda Combs volunteered to be our lovely subject for the first of our Blue Sky Project dance concepts: Good Girl/Bad Robot. The theme was derived from the film Metropolis and improvised on location at both ArtStreet at University of Dayton and Excelsior lofts in the Oregon District.
Resident Artist Rodney Veal filmed the video portion with a camera loaned courtesy of Lindsay LaPointe, and Student Artist Sara Sexton documented still shots and composed a few stop-motion animation-esque clips.
